📋 Scope of Work (as per tender documents)
- Warehouse construction (15,000 m²)
- A-grade dust-free facility with insulated roof and proper ventilation.
- Minimum 8.5m clear internal height, allowing stacking up to 6.2m.
- LED high-bay lighting.
- Fire suppression, alarms, secondary power and safety systems.
- Full concrete flooring with drainage and floor demarcation.
- Loading canopy (4,000 m²)
- Solar-panel ready roof structure.
- Durable concrete flooring.
- On-grade high-speed doors (4 units, minimum 4.5m height × 4.2m width).
- Large truck + trailer access under canopy.
- Adequate lighting and weatherproofing for 24/7 logistics.
- Utilities & Safety
- Fire suppression systems, emergency exits & signage.
- Humidity control to prevent condensation.
- Compliance with OHS Act, COIDA, and site safety induction.
- Logistics functions supported
- Storing finished glass products.
- Loading & offloading of packaging materials.
- Picking, put-away, and staging for inspection & dispatch.
- On-way truck movement and high-speed operations to reduce lead times.
Requirements:
- Show financial capability like credit lines etc
- Relevant trade qualifications (Likely 6GB/6CE (large warehouse build))
- Signed reference letters on client letterhead
- CSD registration (or commitment to register)
- Maintain Public Liability Insurance.
- Registration with the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases (COID)
- Willing to enter a JV agreement
