🌍 Introducing: The Township Fund
This is our funding programme for 100% Black-owned businesses operating in townships, rural or peri-urban areas – what about urban businesses? Well we can look at urban businesses too but on per case bases – refer and we decide! We help them unlock cash advances, term loans, and invoice discounting — even if they’re waiting to be paid or just won a new contract or purchase order.
💸 What’s On Offer for the Business?
1️⃣ Cash Flow Funding (Contract and PO funding) – Short-term loans from R100K to R5 million to help pay for materials, labour, or equipment.
2️⃣ Invoice CashAdvance – Up to 75% of an unpaid invoice paid out in a few days.
3️⃣ Revolving Credit – Starting from R250K, perfect for businesses that need flexible working capital.
✅ Who Qualifies?
To refer a qualifying business, check that they:
- Are 100% Black-owned
- Operate in a township, rural, or peri-urban area (urban is also considered)
- Have at least 12 months trading history
- Have done 3 similar jobs before
- Have a valid contract, PO, or invoice (less than 60 days old) from government or reputable company.
Even if the business has no 12-month history or is in an urban area, they can still apply — we have other options too.
🧾 What Documents Must They Provide?
✔ Selfie holding ID
✔ Certified ID copy (not older than 3 months)
✔ Proof of address (director and business)
✔ Company registration docs
✔ Contract, PO or Invoice
✔ Supplier quotes or cash flow projection
✔ 12-month bank statement
✔ Tax clearance
✔ CSD report
✔ B-BBEE affidavit
✔ Company resolution if more than 1 director

💰 How Much Can You Earn?
You earn between 0.5% and 1% of the loan or funding value. You begin at 0.5% bronze level and if you refer at least 5 businesses per month then you get to 1% diamond!

Here are a few hot spots to source qualified businesses:
- Government tender briefings
- CIDB or CSD registered suppliers
- Contractors attending municipal site meetings
- WhatsApp groups for subcontractors and suppliers
- People you know supplying to TVET colleges, hospitals, schools, municipalities, Eskom, SANRAL, Transnet, etc.
- Local SMEs doing deliveries or repairs
If they’re waiting for payment or need capital to start a project, you could help them — and get rewarded.
