We are urgently sourcing skilled subcontractors for a large painting maintenance contract at a prominent Johannesburg facility. Work includes repainting and general surface restoration. This opportunity spans 36 months on an as-and-when basis.
Requirements:
- Qualified painters or multi-skilled artisans
- References for painting jobs > R500K in last 5 years
- Valid COIDA Letter of Good Standing
- CSD Registration or commitment to register
- Signed subcontractor or JV agreement
- Vehicle access (bakkie preferred)
- Must meet health and safety compliance per OHS Act
🧰 Technical & Functional Requirements (from RFQ)
Subcontractors or partner must:
- Provide references for projects valued at R500,000+ in the last 5 years
- Submit:
- Appointment letter + Reference letter for each listed project
- At least 1 project with confirmed value
- Provide CVs + Certificates for:
- Certified Painter
- Multi-Skilled Artisan
- Show access to bakkies/light-duty vehicles:
- Proof of ownership or rental letter of intent
- Submit a compliant Health & Safety Plan including:
- Team operational structure (3 crews)
- First aider (valid cert.)
- Risk assessment for painting
- Signed safety policy
- COIDA Letter of Good Standing
